'Child Of The Ghetto' (produced by Empey) is KOF's new single - a familiar tale of hardships, relationships and the strife that these can bring - but the stories supersede location and race, and are stories that many people can relate to.
The last 3 months has seen KOF lauded with a number of accolades; he was selected as “One To Watch” by RWD magazine, a “Hot For 2012” by BBC 1Xtra and a “Star Of 2012” feature on worldwide renown news outlet CNN International (alongside established stars such as Adele and Mary J Blige).
The song has recently been added to radio playlists including BBC Radio 1Xtra (National), Reprezent Radio (London), Unity Radio (Manchester), Bang Radio (London) and KCC Live (Liverpool). The track has also received various plays on BBC Radio 1, Xtreme East, Peace FM, BBC Merseyside, De Ja Vu and many more.
The video has just been shot in St Lucia and will air soon. 'Child of the Ghetto' will be released on 25th March 2012 on Nothin' But The Music and comes from the forthcoming EP, “An Alternative Soul”, due for release in April 2012.
